Iquitos is a very chaotic and energetic little place with a lot of history. After seeing Lima and how much It has grown and modernized, I have to admit Iquitos felt like a breath of fresh air. We finally felt like we were in Peru and not in a city that could have easily passed for a city in the United States like Lima, we loved it!
