It will be weird to watch the girls run, while I’m cheering them on in the stadium. But that’s part of an athletes life too. . . This season has been really tough: mentally and physically. Getting sick in the beginning of the year and carrying that with me for months. Running times which are 2 seconds above your PB, isn’t fun at all. But I kept on going and never gave up. Luckily you learn a lot when things don’t go the way you want to. Now it’s time to give my body the rest it deserves. . . I wanna give my team a BIG BIG thanks. They always believed in me, even when I didn’t. Thanks coach, teammates, family, friends, medical staff, sponsors (@newbalancebenelux @ciropackje) and my followers.
