Kim Gwang-suk “Counter Kim” of North Korea 🇰🇵 and her near perfect routine at the 1991 World Championships in Indianapolis.
Her date of birth is left blank in her FIG profile: she was 1m32 tall and many believed she was younger than 15 as announced by her delegation. The North Koreans were accused of falsifying Kim's birth year at least three occasions and of saying that she was 15 for three consecutive years. The FIG punished the North Korean gymnastics federation by barring their women's team from competeting at the 1993 World Championships. The last time she was seen was in 2008 when she was a torchbearer during the North Korean portion of the Olympic torch relay.
