Mrs Bathena taught me a skill that became my passion, my purpose and even 40 years on is a big part of my life. It was such a pleasure to see her again just 3 years ago and to see she still possessed her firm yet general nature which earned her so much respect for over 60 years while teaching the craft she loved so much.
