The Arctic Refuge contains our nation’s largest and wildest wildlife refuge. Drilling in the Arctic Refuge threatens the lives of Indigenous Peoples, the survival of countless species, and one of the most special landscapes in the United States. The Arctic Refuge contains the greatest biodiversity of any protected area north of the Arctic Circle.
