As we begin our long goodbye to summer, one of the things we’ll miss the most are wildflower blooms. #MountRainier #NationalPark in #Washington is famous for some of the most colorful and magical displays in America. Different flowers come and go, making the landscape a prism of ephemeral beauty. Rosy Spirea (Spirea splendens) grows in dense clusters of rose pink flowers and is commonly found at the margins of lakes and in wet meadows. With early snow already falling in the park, we’ll have to hold on to these memories until next year.
