ネイサン・バーソロメイさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ネイサン・バーソロメイInstagram)「So I’ve been getting so many messages from my friends and supporters wondering what I’ve been up to and how things are going. Here goes! On May 15th of this year I underwent a full patellar tendon repair where they removed some of the damaged tendon as well as some abnormalities from under my knee cap which was causing the issue. This injury had me skating in pain through most of the 2017 and 2018 seasons and I was constantly in therapy and struggling to recover. After trying injections and different medication and PT I had exhausted all of my options and this is when my team and I made the decision to turn to surgery. I would like to take this opportunity to thank my coaches @jpcoach and @acevora84 as well as @bodybybarb or you unwavering support durning this difficult time in my life. As well as @pt_solutions and @floridamedicalcliniccareers for your patience and hard work to get me back on my feet! I would also like to thank all of my family and friends (specifically my mom @annmbartholomay ) for cooking and cleaning and taking care of me for a few weeks! Lastly I would like to thank my fans and supporters for being there! I am scheduled to make a 100% full recovery and then I plan to evaluate myself and decide next season for me as a #TeamUSA athlete! More updates soon!
