Though I’m anxious about doing it sometimes, not feeling like it’s my place to do.. some of my proudest work is using my art and platform to aid activists and create positive noise and increase their message. I, and everyone individually, may be small and insignificant, but people like @claire.wineland and greta thunberg are a huge reminder that our voices are important, if they can, so can we. They grew beyond themselves and became so much bigger than we could ever imagine ourselves to be, and even a year after passing away, Claire lives on in her work.
I’m really happy to see the amazing support on the drawing I posted last night and wanted to elaborate on why I chose to make something. Art is an amazing tool to share a message, and I’m excited to see promising youth’s word taken seriously and discussed on such a grand scale.
