This is the letter I wrote to my dad the summer I came out to him.. 8 years later and I was wrong. A lot has changed. Because unlike the night I wrote this letter today I love myself for every part of me. It took more time than it should have. Happy #nationalcomingoutday to all of you who know this journey, no matter which part of it you’re on now please know you are so loved by so many 💕 myself included! If you’re not in a safe place to come out to anyone right now.. go look yourself in the mirror and come out to yourself! And tell yourself “I love you”.. even if it’s not true yet, I promise you will get there 🌈 I did and never thought I would.
