This is a very ambitious project that is very close to my heart; A fam(iliarisation) trip mostly around the historical sights of Iran, for a group of international influencers with a significantly large number of following. The aim of the trip is of course to show the world that Iran is safe, fun, breathtakingly beautiful and absolutely worth the visit. Tourism has long been neglected in Iran, depriving not only the Iranians from the benefits of this fruitful industry (specially in these hard times of unjust economical sanctions), but also the curious travelers of the world from the rich cultural, historical, gastronomical and natural resources that Iran can share with world, all dressed in the legendary hospitality of Iranians. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Does this mean there are no problems in Iran? Does this mean those of us who advocate for international tourism in Iran ignore the political, religious and human right issues in Iran? NO! BUT, opening the doors to Iran, ending this senseless two-way isolation, starting a free and realistic conversation, IS EXACTLY what can help Iran with those issues. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Here I’d like to congratulate @hodarostami and her team at @rostudio.life (and anyone else who helped this dream project come true) and take my hat off to them for accomplishing something many would’ve thought impossible.
