I was being photographed in the street and I came inside this cafe while the shoot was being set up and touched up my makeup using @imancosmetics lipstick when I realized there was a young girl standing mesmerized by my brown lipstick! She said she’s never seen makeup for black women before! I had the privilege of putting the lipstick on her and then giving her my tube as a gift. We all need to be seen and celebrated and it has been my privilege to have been one the first creators of a brand exclusively for women with skin of color by a woman with skin of color.
