So, this confession... as a result of heavy abuse to my own body.. drugs, heavy smoking and food disorders, I severely damaged my respiratory tracks, my lungs, my throat, my vocal cords, my bronchios.... as a consequence, for the past five years, every time winter comes I get these heavy episodes of bad bronchitis. Last year it got pretty bad and I had to go to the hospital with a near pneumonia. So this year I decide to take action and get the treatments I needed to get before things got too bad. There’s so many things I’d like to share about all this.. Like: what can you do to take care of a bronchitis? REST!! How interesting is it that I still have such a hard time allowing myself to just rest! That my body still has to scream it out to me!! So, I decided to listen, and rest. I’m spending time with my daughter. Reflecting. Contemplating. Feeling. Living. Being!! Another confession: I was already a bit sick when I was in Paris and I tried to honor my body as much as I could BUT I also had to honor some previously acquired engagements... And I decided to honor them with my whole heart ‘cause that’s the only way I know how to do do it. I landed in Miami Monday and during the night my body just went: “Ok, we did we we had to do, NOW, let’s do what we need to do for our wellbeing “ I decided to honor my body. He’s always been there for me in spite of my harshness and abuse throughout the years.. my body was AND IS ALWAYS THERE FOR ME! In the states 🇺🇸it’s always a whooole thing to go see a doctor... And every time it makes me think of how lucky we are in France 🇫🇷. So, I was prepared with my book to go trough the whole thing.. And then I realized that it was an opportunity! TO not just navigate trough the experience but to FULLY LIVE THE EXPERIENCE!! So, book down.. started consciously breathing... and what a difference it made!!! Not just for that moment but for the entire day!! We have a choice!! ALWAYS!!
