I felt guilt when not working nights and weekends , and never felt like I “deserved” a vacation. I am STILL trying to get over the guilt and anxiety I feel when I take a break (or even take a day off on the weekend). But healing is a process and nowadays I can finally feel like I not only “deserve” a break but that it’s normal... I certainly gained a lot from my trip to Rome with my tokyo family and had a chance to refresh and relax.
