My mom is having surgery the first week of December, and I hate that we live hundreds of miles away. She’s made me promise not to come up for the procedure, but we’ll be setting up camp, back in OH, when she comes home. It’ll feel good to be there to help care for her, we just don’t have definitive plans about when we’ll go or how long we’ll stay. So I make no apologies for this. The tree is up and shopping is well underway because we plan to enjoy every ounce of cheer we can squeeze out of this holiday season, regardless of where we are 🎄
