I saved up for her when I was twelve and spent years and years feeding, brushing, riding and looking after her. She is much slower these days. She turns 36 in January and becomes more herself, magical, trusting and unicorn-like every day. A teaching in itself! If I’m honest, Tiki and other animals, have taught me equally potent lessons about kindness, humour, compassion and connection to many people.
