I took advantage of a “locals only” sneak peak tonight...locals only because I’ve been coming down to the pier the night before the “Holiday Pier Lighting” ceremony (it’s tomorrow night Nov 20th) for a quite a few years now. . I learned back then the city always tests the lights for a few minutes the night before the “big show” it’s the only time you can get an empty pier with the Christmas trees & hopefully a nice sunset like tonight. . So I stood at the front of the Pier as everyone left...sure enough at 1700 a city maintenance truck pulled up. The guy slowly strolled over to “the magic holiday box” and with a flip of the switch the season began. I couldn’t quite tell, but I’m pretty sure the maintenance worker smiled when the lights went on. So tomorrow night the rest of the city will join the 20 of us who were on the pier tonight and are in the holiday mood. . Leica SL + 21 mm Lux」11月20日 12時24分
