One of the stops was in front of this declawing animal hospital to try to educate cat owners about why amputating their cat's toe bones and claws is really bad for them. We do a lot of research and found a very concerning thing. We found 7 rescues/shelters in West Michigan and 5 of them are against declawing and educate the public about how it is bad for cats and they teach people about the easy, humane options.👍🏻😺🐾❤️ . Unfortunately 2 of these shelters condone declawing on their rescued cats and don't educate the public about how declawing is bad for cats or about the easy, humane options. 😿💔 Both of these shelters use Fremont Animal Hospital as their animal hospital and one of these shelters refers people to them if they ask for a good vet to go to for a declaw. One of these shelters even performs declawing on many of their cats before they are put up for adoption.😿😿😿🐾💔 Here's Fremont Animal Hospital's info about declawing.
