ファイン・フレンジーさんのインスタグラム写真 - (ファイン・フレンジーInstagram)「Today I woke up feeling funky and off-kilter and I was rushing from seeing a friend to an appointment and didn’t realize until I went to tap out of the tube at covent garden that my wallet was missing. At which point I got hit full force with the panic that was already jangling in my system from a bad nights sleep and all kinds of other crusty feelings, and I was shaking when I went to the administrator’s office at the station. Had i dropped it? Had it been stolen? How could i have not noticed? What was i supposed to do? I couldn’t think straight. But the station manager was so unbelievably kind, took my details with such compassion and I knew that he was going to do his best to help... but I also knew it was the tube, in London, in the Christmas rush, and i had taken three trains. He called me 15 minutes later as I was on the line with my credit card company, saying he had good news. The driver of them tube had somehow found my wallet and had turned it in at Queens Park. The CHANCES of this happening were so slim I still can’t believe it. And every single person I met along the way was gentle and so human. It just made me feel so good about people, and I carried that in my heart for the rest of the day. So thank you, lovely, lovely @transportforlondon for your Christmas spirit ♥️♥️♥️public transport is the best and they have to deal with so much crap all the time. A good reminder to be extra kind, because there are a lot of hardworking people out there who are really stellar souls and these kind of things so often go by unnoticed.
