This video still makes me well up with tears. A mother's love for her child is unlike anything else. Just to clarify for all the people that have speculated over the past 3 years with why his hair was so long...it was not kept for religious reasons, nor was it kept to keep him looking a certain way. We kept it because we couldn't bear to cut it. He had golden curly locks and we were madly in love with them and so was he. We ultimately did this so he could be more comfortable and we the parents could have a little more convenience! #shaisfirstcut ❤️ Big THANK YOU to @carachele my beautiful friend who was so amazing with him and knew exactly (and efficiently) how to do this.
