@hypebeastmusic: Tekashi @6ix9ine has been sentenced to two years in prison by a federal judge - 13 months of which will already count as time served. The reduced sentence came as a result for Tekashi's involvement in helping prosecutors jail his former Nine Trey Bloods members. He initially faced up to 47 years in prison if convicted on firearms and racketeering charges. The 23-year-old rapper stated that he has no plans to go into the federal witness protection program according to the New York Times.⁠
