Bersama almarhumah Ani Yudhoyono dan keluarga, saya mempelajari dengan seksama contoh museum kepresidenan bertaraf internasional itu. Ketika dirawat di rumah sakit Singapura, Ibu Ani dan saya berdiskusi untuk membangun museum serupa di tanah air. Insya Allah, 2 tahun mendatang impian kami berdua menjadi kenyataan. Sahabat saya, Presiden Bush dan Ibu Laura Bush mengirim surat khusus mendoakan untuk kesembuhan almarhumah. Dengan rasa haru, Ibu Ani dan saya sempat membalas surat mereka dengan melampirkan foto-foto kenangan kami ketika sama-sama mengemban tugas negara. Ketika mendengar istri tercinta berpulang ke rahmatullah, Bush dan Laura dengan nada yang sedih dan penuh empati mengirimkan lagi surat belasungkawanya. Together with my late wife Ani and the family, I studied carefully the example of this world class presidential museum. When Ani was under her treatment at the hospital in Singapore, we discussed the idea to build the similar museum in our country. God willing, within the next 2 years our dream will come true. My good friends, President Bush and Mrs. Laura Bush had sent a special letter to Ani, praying for the healing of her treatment. With our deepest gratitude we had a chance to reply their letter attached with our togetherness photos when we were in the office. When they heard that Ani passed away, Bush and Laura sent another letter where they expressed their deep sympathy and condolences to me and my family.
