サッシャ・ディギーリアンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (サッシャ・ディギーリアンInstagram)「I just watched @matilda_soderlund ‘s video climbing “Golden for the Moment.” I tried the climb back in 2012 and I found it nails hard; I totally failed the mission to send it. Then, last year, Matilda let me know she was coming to St. George to try the route, and I was so excited to meet up with her (she is one of my best friends) and spend some days climbing on it again with her. I jumped on it for a couple days and the route certainly didn’t feel any easier than I remembered it. Watching her put in the effort to realize this goal of becoming the first female to send the route was so inspiring. To see her flow through the moves as she pieced the sequences together was really awesome. I left to Indian Creek, and a couple weeks later she called me and told me she sent her last day of her trip. So epic! I am so proud of my friend’s determination and relentless drive. We’ve known each other since we were competing together in the international youth comps in our early teens. Watching her career blossom has been such a reminder of what hard work and dedication can bring! Way to go, Tildy.
