A frame can really bring the focus of your image to life. I especially love a good frame when the sky feels a bit empty or rather uninteresting. It’s always awesome to find something natural, but there is a lot of talented photographers who can make something interesting by simply holding up a branch or even man made. I tend to look for contrasting color that doesn’t take away from the central image itself. If there is anything I have learned from a good foreground frame is that often a good photograph is as much about what you Don’t show than what you do show.
