What a song this is from @boniver “Hey Ma”! But we all know this already of course! I don’t even remember how this version we made came about. We just used the melody and the chords as the basis for an improvisation and through that came up with a riff that echoes some of the production/soundscape sounds. I also had in my mind that extraordinary live session the band did at Air Studios on two pianos where they deconstructed their songs in totally new ways. If you listen to the end, you will hear me say “I literally have no idea how that sounds.” Heart and hand before head. Often the best way in creative work!
