🌟Hoshi means star and mori means forest. 🌲 This is the view from Hoshigamori in Yokomineji which is the 60th of the 88 temples on the Shikoku pilgrimage route. ⛩️ Visitors climb 820 meters to view the sacred Mt. Ishizuchi by day, and at night to gaze at the stars. It’s believed that the legendary Buddhist monk Kukai prayed to the stars at this spot.✨
