In our ongoing series that focuses on the ever-growing LOEWE art collection housed at our global stores, we put the spotlight on artist Andrea Büttner.
Previously nominated for the Turner Prize, Büttner often hones in on the humble or the overlooked, engaging with notions of humility, shame, religious belief or custom to explore contemporary society and her own role as an artist within it. Büttner is interested in the woodcut technique for the way it brings together the handcrafted with mass-production. 'Hill' by Andrea Büttner is currently housed at LOEWE Greene Street.
