This durable shoe far exceeded my expectations, performing on three peak days with a weighted pack in the La Sals, gripping firmly onto steep Capitol Reef slickrock.... The hardy sole even saved my foot from a misstep onto a small spear-like yucca plant. An all around top-rate shoe for any escapade in desert and mountain terrain - and the style is spot on.
