It inspired me to keep track of the films and specials I’ve watched. In 2020, I also want to keep track of the shows I watch, books I read, podcasts I listen to, and live performances I’m fortunate enough to see (baby steps 😅). I’ve always prioritized training and work, but this year I decided it was OK to carve out 2-3 hours for myself to see a movie. Looking back, I’m so glad I did. Recently, I’ve especially appreciated movies for the escapism they can provide. I was very nervous and scared before my surgery. Being able to see Jumanji the night before my procedure, with Alex and our parents, allowed me to take my mind off things for a few hours. During a really tough time, that meant a lot. Over the past week, I definitely haven’t watched as much as I thought I would. If you want, please share your favorite must-see movies from this year or any other year - I’ll check them out.
