We KNOW there is always a risk of cross contamination. Period. There is. 2. We research before we go. I adore jeni’s for a million reasons but listing the allergens right on all the flavor cards makes me feel like they care 🧡 3. We go during non-peak times. Because if I have questions, I don’t want to slow them down from taking care of a long line of people. 4. We ask questions. We tell them about the allergies. And we ask if it’s possible to use a freshly cleaned scooper to minimize the risk of cross contamination. 4. We ask everything with genuine respect and a smile. We find that when we give it, 9 times out of 10, we get it back. 5. If we have any hesitation AT ALL, we walk. 6. We never ever go without epinephrine. Ever.
