For me, it was a year of growth and grace. @BeamQueenBootcamp (my baby) grew in numbers and locations- even internationally & I couldn’t be more thankful for the amazing staff at each of the events!!! My broadcast opportunities grew as well doing football & getting ready to start with @pac12conference & @espn for the first time! 😍 With all of this excitement & travel, I didn’t have very much “me” time. It’s hard when you love what you do to remember to take a break sometimes especially when I’m easily a work-a-holic by choice. 2020 is going to be another big work year for me, but I’m hoping I’ll be better at asking for help and leaning on my tribe more. I have a pretty COOL one. 😉 • My one fitness goal this year was to have grace for myself when it comes to working out and eating healthy. So... I have to say, I worked out the least amount I’ve ever worked out this year. @nourafchan_ even bet me I couldn’t do 10 pull ups (he lost that bet obviously 🙄 but it wasn’t as easy as it used to be). As crazy as it sounds, having grace when I miss a workout or take a couple days off was tough. It took a little bit to remind my inner voice that the world wouldn’t end if I took a break. Tell me I’m not the only one like this?! I started viewing it more as “active recovery” and that helped! Anyways, hope you’re enjoying this last day of the year to reflect and set goals for 2020.
