It's a book written by @thisnakedmind, but I found the audiobook easier, as I listened to a chapter everyday whilst on the go. People in our society (I'm putting myself in this to) really don't like it when you don't drink as there's so much focus on it being 'fun', so without it we're deemed to be boring. I guess that's why there's so much debate around Dry Jan. 🍻 But here's the thing, we all have such a unique and personal relationship with alcohol that only we know if it's fun for us, or destructive. We can only do what's good for us and our own development. Most people who know me know that I bloody love a drink. I'd never been able to give it up, to a point I worried about my dependency on it. The Alcohol Experiment not only helped me give it up, but i actually enjoyed the experience too. I still managed to DJ, still party, and even enjoy a weekend wedding in Italy totally sober. And guess what, I was still fun and still the last on the dance floor. 🤪 I do still drink, although less fequently, but my relationship with it has totally changed, and I no longer worry about my attachment to it. 🍾 So if this resonates with you, I'd really recommend the audiobook.
