2019 was a hard one. Probably my hardest year yet from a physical and mental standpoint. I learned a lot about surrender. Giving up control of my plans and leaning in to God’s. I’m more aware than ever that life is crazy and so much of it is out of our control. (which does not help the PTSD/anxiety I’m still working through). BUT, it’s also filled with so much beauty and tender mercies and silver linings. Looking back, the biggest lessons I’ve learned have been through seasons of pain and struggle. So for this year, as much as I want it to be better and healthier and more joy-filled, the only ‘plan’ I have is to love bigger. To make room for the things that matter (like this girl right here) and stop worrying about the things that don’t (like staying relevant Instagram) 🤷🏼‍♀️ Life really is too short.
