You work for months and months on every single detail - agonizing over a few frames here - the difference of a few notes in the score there - all of it to get the film ready for it’s “birth” into the world -where people outside of your creative bubble will finally see it.... 🎥 And then it comes out. And everyone involved does their best to get the word out - to let people know where to find it. And lots of people DO find it. WAY more people see your film on their laptops and phones (😐) and sometimes even on their sweet home theater system than would ever see it if it were in theaters. But making a film is such a collective, collaborative experience - and lots of times thats lost in the actual watching of the film. When you have a film come out in theaters you can buy a ticket and go watch it surrounded by a real live paying audience. Not so when your film comes out on streaming... 🎥 So hopefully lots of you have already seen MIDNIGHT KISS. If you haven’t (and even if you have) I have a suggestion. Get together with a group of friends - the louder and rowdier the better - make some cocktails - and then watch it together (preferably on the largest screen possible!)
