I have always felt so connected to this program. After 2018 Nationals, I went to @shaechez asking for some help finding the right piece. I was headed to tour with Stars on Ice and I didn’t want to be a spectacle. I didn’t want to be the girl who was touring with the Olympic team that everyone felt sad for. People love tragedy in sport, always have always will and I just didn’t want to feed into that. I needed something to pick me up, to push me through and to simply say “I’ve been through the worst, and I’m OK”. This number got me through the hardest tour of my life.
