While scouting for the previous photo, which was to be shot a sunrise @ideaform and I went out in the middle of the day and where trying to come up with a location. On that scouting trip I noticed some very heavy black clouds rolling in. We where being rushed along as the time for scout was done. I told @ideaform that I only needed a few minutes, “go chat up the guards” I said and the deed was done. It was quite something to see, boring as can be in color but I saw it in my minds eye as an interesting black and white picture. My two pyramid pictures could not be much different but I like them both. I tend to see midday and “bad light” as opportunities to think about composition in a way that you are not distracted by color and color temperature.
