For the occasion of #PradaMode Paris at @maxims.de.paris, AI researcher, composer, and academic @__KateCrawford__ and artist, geographer, and author @TrevorPaglen have installed “Making Faces,” an interactive exhibition investigating surveillance, big data, and identity detection. The displays ranges from historical displays on phrenology and early facial detection technologies to contemporary video installations, live facial recognition systems, and ImageNet Roulette.
