An old tradition that I’ve chosen to carry on in celebration of this occasion is making potstickers from my grandmother’s and mom’s combined recipe. A new tradition that I’m bringing in is giving myself extra space to creatively explore new possibilities for the season ahead. A large part of this entails my ongoing journey with self care, and setting clear intentions for the direction I wish to move towards. One of my favorite resources supporting this is @nedratawwab feed (and YouTube channel) - her lists often inspire my weekly personal journal prompts. . . . Bright colors are traditionally significant in ushering the Lunar New Year, and that is something which resonates with me too. I like vibrance and welcome it.
