Announcement regarding our drummer Satoyasu Shomura 

Thank you for always supporting [Alexandros]. 

We are sad to announce that our drummer Satoyasu Shomura, who has been taking a break due to focal dystonia since last June, will step down as [Alexandros] drummer after the release of the band’s best album in May 2020. 

Upon consulting with the doctor, he was determined to push forward; however, it has been a difficult situation. After extensive discussing with the bandmates and staffs, we came to this conclusion, respecting his decision ultimately. 

Since Satoyasu Shomura joined [Alexandros] on April 1st 2010, the past decade with him has been incredible journey. As a way for us to pay respect to his new path, we have decided to announce that Satoyasu Shomura is “stepping down,” rather than “leaving.”  
[Alexandros] would like to make announcement on this matter via “YouTube Live” today on January 24th from 9PM(JST), 

Thank you for understanding and supporting [Alexandros] and Satoyasu Shomura over the years.
