What an honor to be inducted into the U.S. Figure Skating Hall of Fame last night alongside friends and colleagues. Congratulations to the always lovely @キミー・マイズナー and to @damonenrique on behalf of Kathy Casey. Thank you, all for the lovely messages and well wishes. We’re so very fortunate for this unique and special community to have been (and continue as) such a beautiful part of our lives! ♥️ Very grateful for your years of love, support and camaraderie.
While I’m grateful and proud of our successes on the ice and will never forget the feeling of listening to the national anthem play as the American flag was raised in Sochi, it’s the quiet moments, the years of practice, the silly stories and the people with whom we’ve shared this journey that will stay with me forever. Thank you! Also, quick shoutout to the incomparable @チャーリー・ホワイト! I had no idea when we started skating together in 1997 that I would someday be fortunate enough to treasure a more than 20 year relationship - a professional partnership and beautiful friendship.
