Still at a loss for words..this can't be true. 朝から何百回ニュースを読んでも、未だに信じられません。The world has lost a big icon and this is truly devastating and heart breaking. My condolences goes out to the families of all the victims and his tragedy.

I wasn’t there to watch Kobe during his prime but towards the end of his career, I began to follow the NBA and he quickly became one of my favorite players. I’ll never forget the image of Kobe, despite the severity of the injury, shooting free throws right after tearing his Achilles. He never quit and aspired to be the best, no matter the obstacle. He inspired millions, if not billions of people around the world.

His legacy will live on forever. All we can do now is celebrate his legacy and impact he’s had on this world. 

RIP Kobe and Gianna.
