サッシャ・ディギーリアンさんのインスタグラム写真 - (サッシャ・ディギーリアンInstagram)「Winter time can be a tough season for me. I have Raynauds, which is an extreme lack of circulation in my extremities (my fingers and toes). Below 50 F, my fingers go totally white. I grew up skiing in Mont Tremblant, so I’ve always been exposed to what true cold weather is like, but over the last few years, as I have dabbled more into ice climbing, I’ve gotten frost nip and frost bite quite routinely. Last year after an ice climbing trip, I couldn’t really feel the tips of my fingers for about two months, which had an impact on my rock climbing. This winter I decided to focus more on a training program than pushing myself outside. Short of traveling to warmer destinations, I find it pretty hard to climb outside in the cold because my fingers are always numbed out and they turn into wooden-like feeling blocks that just never come back to circulation. I’ve been trying ginger, cayenne, garlic, and turmeric, but it’s tough to find an actual solution. The good thing is that in warmer climates, my hands are normally fine because they don’t sweat much. But, as for winter climbing, I’m still looking for some better solutions. Any one have any advice?」1月28日 4時52分 - sashadigiulian
