If I were to post just this picture yesterday it would have showed a picture perfect night with our homemade pasta noodles and a romantic Valentine’s Day dinner. The reality....it turned out a disaster. Mike read the instructions wrong and thought he could cook the noodles in the pan with the sauce but turns out that’s only for not homemade noodles so at 6:30pm when we were both starving we had to run out to a restaurant and order food. Mike was so upset and was having a hard time rebounding. He kept saying “I wanted it to be perfect for you”. To which I told him, it was...and here’s why.... I get asked a million times a day how do you move past infidelity in my dms...the answer is TIME (its been almost 4 years now since any infidelity) AND the number one thing I always say after time is MAKE MEMORIES(that way you’re remembering the new memories and not letting the past outweigh today)...and what I told Mike last night was, just because it wasn’t perfect doesn’t mean it was ruined...I’ll never forget the memory where we cooked homemade noodles, laughed, danced, sang songs, and then had to race to a restaurant because we screwed it up and how we laughed about it.
