These consequences of climate change can be seen directly at the Geltenbach Cave near Kandersteg, Switzerland. Looking up from the Gasterntal valley, the huge, imposing black hole of the cave entrance, situated high up a steep cliff face, lures the eyes of those with a curiosity for what lies beyond.
