#TBT to 2018 when a #TSA officer at @erieairport (ERI) let the cat out of the bag. Literally. During screening, the officer found this cat in a passenger’s checked bag. This could have been extremely dangerous but luckily we were able to rescue her and make sure she got the proper care at the local humane society.

Are you getting ready to travel with your purr-fect companion? Pets are allowed through the checkpoint.
✅ You will need to remove your furry friend from its carrier and carry it through the walk-through metal detector or walk it through on a leash.
✅ Please never put your pet in an x-ray machine!
✅ Place the empty pet carrier on the X-ray belt with your other carry-on items. Please request a private screening if your pet is jumpy.
