An update from our friends at @conservationalliance: @savetheredwoods used Conservation Alliance funding to acquire a 530 acre private inholding within Giant Sequoia National Monument called Alder Creek. The Alder Creek grove includes the fifth largest tree (measured by trunk volume) in the world—a 3,000 year old giant sequoia called the Stagg Tree—and 483 giant sequoias with diameters of six feet or more. #conservationalliance #ourwildfuture #wekeepitwild #sequoias #sequoiatrees
