I first picked up a golf club when I was 19 after a few friends told me I couldn't hit a golf ball. It was humbling because I could barely get the ball off the ground. Since then I have hit tens of thousands of balls in pursuit of getting better. I also wanted to show those that said I couldn't do it that I could. Along the way I realized it isn't just about wanting to play better golf, it became so much more than just being a good golfer. It is about stepping onto the field of competition in anything you do with so much confidence and preparation that the person you're going against knows that they are about to face a beast! If you're a competitor you will not settle for mediocrity! I am a competitor but what I know is that all roads to greatness must go through a small town called practice!
