This week, @UNICEF, together with @planinternational and @unwomen launched the most comprehensive report on the progress for girls over the past 25 years, with a key focus on the significant barriers teen girls still face today. To accelerate progress, the report demonstrates the need to focus on three critical issues: ending gender-based violence, child marriage and FGM; advancing girls’ education and skills; and improving girls’ health.
