For many years, my interactions with the outdoors revolved around unlocking subtle body positions while exerting maximum physical effort on boulders. Nowadays, most of my time in nature is spent searching for the microscopic beauty that is often born from inclement, unforgiving weather conditions. At the heart of both scenarios is a desire to find delicate subtleties in the midst of a seemingly harsh situation. • I spent some time recently searching for tiny beauty in the winter weather around home while working on a project for @jaybirdsport. In true Colorado fashion, I was greeted by every type of weather possible – freezing rain, soppy snow, dry snow, bitter cold and unseasonable warmth.
