Thank you for sharing this @stacyreedpayton ... wonderful memories from the first play I did in #losangeles at @theblanktheatre with #noahwyle directed by @danielhenningla ... I remember being bright eyed and reading “An Actor’s Handbook” by #stanislavski during breaks at rehearsal. It wasn’t too long after that I started class at @lisarobertsonstudio ... as an actor, we soak up so many experiences and use them to create the roles we play. From doing my first play in 3rd grade @germantownfriends (I played Snoopy) to doing 4 plays a semester @emersoncollege to acting on #bones ... so much has contributed to my process... but without a foundational core technique it’s easy for your work to be general and jumbled.
