Each month we continue to put the spotlight on artworks and objects that form part of the LOEWE Collection.

Ceramic works by the radical Japanese potter @TakuroKuwata, who received a special mention at #LOEWEcraftprize 2018, embrace traditional Japanese pottery techniques whilst simultaneously pushing the boundaries of contemporary ceramics. His work is characterized by formal instability, an ambivalent relationship with tradition and an intensely personal use of colour.

Recently for the #LOEWEFW20 Womenswear show, Takuro’s ceramic pieces were engineered to be part of sculptural draped dresses and incorporated onto the drawstring of Flamenco clutches.
